Keep an watch on this thread for more information on what we have in store for you!

Proceeds will benefit Wounded Wear.

When filling out the Registration Form please drop in the following data in the form:

Car Class- UNKNOWN
Car Group- NOVICE(if you've never run a road rally before) REGULAR (if you have run a road rally in the past)
TSCC Member?- YES or NO(just so we know who's attending for future demographics)
Navigator- Please enter NEED ONE if your a lone driver in search of a Navigator so we can help find you one

Please remember this is a fun rally/social event so bring along family, friends, and anybody you can find! You must have a navigator, but bring the kids too.

The basic how to's will be discussed in the driver's meeting, so don't miss out on the fun thinking you'll just be lost, Keath Marx(he has put together multiple competitive rally events) has designed this rally to be fun, and easy to navigate. If you've ever wanted to try a road rally give this one a try, it will be a great day of fun, traveling thru some good southern Va and northern NC backroads.

All vehicles will be allowed(there may be a best tow vehicle trophy) as long as they are in safe road worthy condition, please tech yourself as if you were leaving for vacation, no bald tires, no duck tape holding the battery in, functioning seat belts, etc. Just remember we're all out there for fun raising money for a great cause.

The starting point will be:

Burger King
1519 Holland Road
Suffolk, VA 23434
To get to the parking lot you will make a left at the light off of RT58 Holland Road onto Staley Dr, then a right into the parking lot. Make sure you have plenty of gas(diesel for you guys in the tow class :D ). There is a gas station across from the Burger King, and diesel is available at the Citgo on the right just before you reach the Burger King.
Click here for a Google Map

We will end at:
Anna's Ristorante Italiano
15 East Windsor Boulevard
Windsor, VA 23487

Registration will open at 8am, Drivers Meeting at 9:45 with a Novice intro at 10am, First Car Off at 11am.

We're still working out the fine details, but please mark your calendars for this event. It should be lots of fun and we'll be giving out a few fun trophies.

TSCC will be hosting a charity Road Rally / Poker Run on Saturday, May 12, 2012.
Drivers will need to have a passenger who will act as their ‘navigator’ for the route through Suffolk with several stops along the way. At each stop, drivers will need to answer a route-related question before being given a single card. Or for $5, drivers can purchase a special envelope, which is likely to contain a ‘better’ card.

The end of the route will be a restaurant in Suffolk where trophies will be awarded to participants who have the best and worst poker hands, along with some route related trophies.

$20 per car

Please consider joining us, and spreading the word to family and friends.

All proceeds to benefit Wounded Wear
Wounded Wear provides free clothing and clothing modifications to wounded warriors and raises the national awareness of the sacrifices of America’s wounded and their families.

The route is mostly mapped out and ready to roll. It will be a fun ride through the back country of Virginia and North Carolina. Starting and Finishing sites are tentatively identified. I spoke with Wounded Wear yesterday and they are excited about the partnership between TSCC and themselves. They have a big shindig going on this weekend, Wine Tasting and such. I will be getting a banner and some pamphlets, maybe some trinkets to give out. They do wonderful work for men and women who deserve it so come out and help us raise some money for them!

I would be interested in navigating (or finding a navigator). My wife works weekends. lmk Keith, who thinks spouses aren't always the best drivers/navigators...
