An entry list is usually not posted until pre-reg fills up or 1-2 weeks prior to the event, whichever comes first.
But it will be here when that happens: http://www.get-fast.net/nasacross/022408reg.htm 46 of 60 spots left for 2/24, Jon |

The 3/30/08 Circuitschool/Circuitcross on VIR-Patriot has been replaced by a private event.
And the 7/27/08 Circuitschool/Circuitcross on VIR-Patriot has just been cancelled by the venue. Therefore, the only confirmed Circuitschool/Circuitcross on VIR-Patriot will be 2/24/08. Registration for that event is now open: https://www.nasaproracing.com/nasa_event/show/?event_id=621 Thanks, Jon |

No prob Brian, please shoot me an email so I don't forget to put you in heat 1.
I'm processing a few cancellations and shuffling some officials out of the count; there are definitely less than 5 spots remaining! Thanks, Jon |

Good times! Thanks to everyone who came out and made it happen.
Everyone got 8 runs, the first of which was a warmup & didn't count toward the results. Heats 1 & 2 were dry, heat 3 was wet. Speaking of results, here they are: http://www.get-fast.net/nasacross/022408res.htm Pics are coming soon as well. Thanks again, Jon |

Jon, thanks for an awesome event! I had a lot of fun, and I learned a lot yesterday, which fulfilled both of my objectives going into the event.
Sorry about my off - I made a mistake, and I knew better than to do what I did to cause that spin. I will be trying very hard to ensure that never happens again. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/yesnod.gif) Any chance we can see results split by wet/dry (i.e. Heat 3 separated from everyone else)? Not a big deal, I'm just curious. If you want, if you e-mail me the final registration list with heat numbers I can do the wet/dry split myself. This post has been edited by plus_c: Feb 26 2008, 10:42 AM |

I'll see what I can do. That stuff is on the laptop, which I'm nowhere near. Here are the heat 3 drivers (I think this is the final list) in the meantime.

I'll take a 6th overall with one run. I wish my car wasn't going through it's menstrual cycle. I would have loved to try to give Gil a run for his money.

Class D is always a bruiser on Patriot! I landed 7th overall, but that still only put me in 4th for D. There was a lot of competition out on Sunday.
I also learned that my AutoX setup is way too tail-happy for Patriot... Making a swaybar adjustment from full-stiff to medium after the first run helped a lot. That sideways through the finish thing was all driver error though. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/eusa_doh.gif) |

Oh yeah, D's a hot class. Wish I'd had time for some dry runs (not for points just for reference as always) because I'm usually not embarrassingly far behind Bret in the yellow Type R. But all I brought was street tires so who knows. I gotta hurry up and use my ~5 remaining points in "D" so I can keep up. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
Too bad swaybar adjustments won't help wheelies at the starting line: http://www.get-fast.net/gallery/feb08vir/feb08vir638.jpg Hahahahaha, Jon |

You brought it upon yourself when you installed that gi-normous new a/c compressor. Or is it an oversized power steering pump? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Jon |

I had a blast again this year. Thanks Jon et al. for a well-run event. It's nice to be able to get bunches of runs and use some of my hp/tq, which i'm not disciplined enough to use properly in auto-x (this is the closest i've ever come to top 10).
